Construction One Managing New Outdoor Venue
The Prattville, AL city council approved a $4 million outdoor venue in its downtown area. The project will be managed by Construction One, Inc. (Columbus , OH)The covered outdoor space will feature an area for people to eat and enjoy live entertainment at CityFest, Parade of Pumpkins, and other events throughout the year. ESI Building Out New HQ
ESI Construction (Meridian, ID) has purchased an old Citibank building and is remodeling it for use as the company’s new headquarters. ESI President Neil Nelson said the company has been searching for a new headquarters location for more than 10 years to consolidate all its operations under one roof. Groom Construction Finishes Movie Theater
Groom Construction (Boston, MA) recently completed the construction of Coolidge Corner Theatre, a historic and beloved movie theater in Brookline, MA. The project was a $14 million dollar expansion. Click here to read more.

Harmon Construction Develops New HQ
Harmon Construction (North Vernon, IN) has acquired the former Old National/PNC Bank Building in downtown North Vernon and plans to use it for its corporate headquarters. The company worked with the Jennings County Economic Development Commission to develop the project. Immel Moves to New Headquarters
Immel Construction (Green Bay, WI) is moving its headquarters into the former Lakeland University Green Bay center. In March, the university announced it would move into the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College main campus. “Since becoming an employee-owned company, we have experienced growth and the need for updated facilities and space,” said Paul Martzke, president of Immel. “This move represents our commitment to that growth and providing an excellent work environment for our people. Our new location will also allow us to better serve the greater Green Bay community and our client and customer base throughout the Midwest.” Immel will keep its original facility as an operations center, which includes warehouse, prefabrication and equipment functions. Click here to read more.

RAYWEST DESIGNBUILD (Fayetteville, NC) recently broke ground on a Culver’s franchise in Hope Mills, NC. Click here to read more. The company also delivered SkiBurger a new home in Elizabethtown, NC. Bogart Construction (Irvine, CA) recently announced some staffing changes. Noel Amand was promoted to Vice President of Operations. In his new role, Noel will play a pivotal part in shaping the strategic direction of the company’s operations while continuing to uphold the highest standards of efficiency, innovation, and client satisfaction. Fortney & Weygandt Update
Fortney & Weygandt, Inc. (North Olmsted, Ohio) started the year with a bang, building  out a new Phantom Fireworks location in Warrensville Heights, OH. CVS Health recently acquired Oak Street Health and has selected the company for  some of the first build outs and conversions as the brand is launched in their stores. Fortney & Weygandt is breaking ground on a new retail shelland a future Citizens Bank in Avon, OH. They are alsoworking on two Popeye’s in Ohio and a LongHorn Steakhouse in Chesapeake, VA.  

Wolverine Builds New Gym at Addiction Recovery Center
Wolverine Building Group (Grand Rapids, MI) and eight subcontractors transformed and expanded an area once used as a food pantry into a workout space available to men in Guiding Light’s recovery program. Guiding Light, a Christian nonprofit focused on addiction recovery, unveiled a new gym that was funded through cash and in-kind donations totaling $25,000.  Wolverine and the subcontractors spent 1,100 hours on the 2,100-square-foot gym, and donated building materials and gym equipment. Click here to read more.

Kaylee Dillard, a project manager at Wolverine Building Group (Grand Rapids, MI) has been appointed to the City of Grand Rapids' Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (BRA). The authority is responsible for overseeing the Brownfield Redevelopment Program and the Local Brownfield Revolving Fund and helps offset some of the costs that come with the development of contaminated or currently unusable properties in the city of Grand Rapids.
