Shames Construction, named one of the top 10 woman-owned businesses in the San Francisco Bay area and headquartered in Livermore, California, recently celebrated its grand opening of a second office in the Denver metro area of Colorado. The company will has a new look and updated website is scheduled for completion early 2015.
Sarasota-based Kellogg & Kimsey, Inc. hosted its “Topping Out” Ceremony earlier this month for the One Palm Mixed Use Project. The project team, subcontractors working on the project, and local dignitaries enjoyed a lunch followed by the placement of a Christmas tree and American flag on the top of the recently poured roof structure by the project tower crane. The 10-story project of 300,000+ square feet will include a 141-unit apartment complex and a 139-room Aloft hotel.

KBE Building Corp. to Deliver its 965th Thanksgiving Dinner to Hungry Families Volunteers from KBE Building Corp. will continue their 6-year labor of love when they assemble and deliver 200 Thanksgiving dinners during the firm’s signature philanthropic event “Gift of Gobble”, on Nov. 22. KBE staff members and their families will assemble and deliver complete meal kits—each including a turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, corn, beans, potatoes, yams, rolls, apple pie, pumpkin pie, and a roasting pan—to eight community service organizations around the Connecticut.
