2015 NewsSeptember 2015 Buildrite’s Social Media Campaign July 2015 International Contractors Wins Walmart Bid Timberwolff Completes Flagship Sephora May 2015 KBE Building Corporation is leading a $17 million renovation for Jordan’s Furniture. They broke ground at the jobsite on May 6. The 193,000 s/f project, encompasses the renovation of an existing building (two stories and mezzanines); new entrance feature, signage feature, and canopy; new exterior doors and interior partitions; new single story detached pump house; roof patching; and exterior site work including demolition of pavement; sidewalks and tree removal; utility coordination; new paving; plantings; concrete and brick paving; storm and sanitary drainage including infiltration system; off-site water line. This is KBE’s second project for the top New England furniture retailer. KBE also led the addition and renovation of the existing Jordan’s Furniture store in Natick, MA. The project included a new IMAX theater, additional showroom and retail space, and interior and exterior theming elements. KBE has been a member of the RCA since 1998. April 2015 Congratulations to Commonwealth Building Inc. (CBI) on its 35th anniversary! With newly named President Chris Fontaine and CEO Frank Trainor, the CBI team has completed its 35th year as a general contractor. In announcing this accomplishment, the company recognized its team of committed and talented employees for their years of dedication to the company, as well as the many long term client relationships that are still in place today. March 2015 Carolyn Shames, President & CEO of Shames Construction, is featured in a Walmart video describing the company’s Women’s Economic Empowerment Initiative. Carolyn shares her thoughts on the challenges of being a woman in the construction industry; the importance of women mentoring other women, and the strong partnership she has formed working with Walmart. January 2015 Prime Retail Services has chosen Brian Pitts to serve as Senior Project Manager with its Fixture Division. Since joining Prime, Pitts has worked with the Coast Guard Exchange on several projects and is currently involved with developing relationships with general contracting firms. Prior to Prime, he served as a project manager for a fixture manufacturing company, where he managed several different projects including ones for 7-Eleven, Inc. and Target Brands, Inc. Bloom is the President and CEO of Prime Retail Services. Heinze serves as the Vice President of the Construction Division of Prime, and Windham is a Project Manager with the company. |
